Qingming - Qingtuan
April 4 was Qingming Festival or Tomb Sweeping Day. The traditional food for Qingming is qingtuan and we have eaten our way through several packages of these tasty green dumplings with red bean paste inside.

Not sure where to get in Shanghai, but one store at Guan Qian Jie, Suzhou, people usually line up to buy freshly made qing tuan every early morning. :)
Safe trip back!

thanks for this QingTuan photo. i've nearly forgot about it completely. i haven't had it for at least the 17 years i've been in the states. it makes me homesick.
